Rich Caldwell, mentor + facilitator

I assist CEOs and their teams to get more of what they say they want, and less of what they don't...

My typical clients are owner-entrepreneurs and their teams in smaller, fast-growing companies, especially in media, finance, and communications. My clients get permanent, positive changes in attitudes, behaviors, and results at all levels, in an environment of growing profits, accountability, teamwork, and satisfaction.

I do this by:

  • Teaching leaders how to coach people, rather than manage them
  • Mentoring leaders at all levels in accountability and personal responsibility
  • Coaching people to permanently and positively change their behaviors and attitudes in measurable ways
  • Facilitating difficult and challenging conversations to generate
new and creative solutions to long-standing problems
  • Teaching, sharing, and modeling the principles and practices
    of Success Culture™

I've been in business for myself for most of the past 25 years, as a CEO, COO, and business owner. I've worked in entertainment, telecommunications, television production, and advertising before founding the Planned Success Institute in 1997.

I created the Success Culture™ as a new model for defining and achieving success in groups. A model based on fulfillment and satisfaction as the prime motivators of behavior, instead of risk-avoidance and fear. A model to transform toxic, fear-based cultures into healthy, supportive ones.

My academic training includes a B.S., Engineering, (Cornell Univ.) and a M.A., Spiritual Psychology (Univ. of Santa Monica). I've combined my formal training and my business experiences with plenty of 'hands-on' time spent working with owner/entrepreneurs and their teams.

My work with clients includes Success Culture™ trainings, individual and group coaching and mentoring (empowerment and behavioral change), cultural change initiatives, and leadership development at all levels.

I look forward to working with you.
